Flower Pounding Workshop Saturday, August 8th 8:30am
Feeling rage-y lately? Let’s channel that energy. Flower pounding is a therapeutic eco printing method where we transfer botanical dyes through hammering. Each participant will create their own unique botanical print on a tote bag ($45) or shirt ($65) to take home.
Date & Time: Saturday, August 8th 8:30am
Location: Blue House Florals garden in Tampa Heights. 2302 N Massachusetts Ave Tampa, FL 33602. We’re on a corner lot and there is street parking available. Take care to not park next to the double yellow lines, or block anyone’s driveway.
What to wear:
Depending upon the weather and time of day, there could be bugs. You may want to wear long sleeves, pants, and/or bring bug spray.
The entire experience will be outdoors with uneven surfaces, so wear comfortable footwear.
Other things to note:
In the case of poor weather, I will be happy to reschedule.
This is my family's home, so while you will have allllll of me, it's very possible that you will see my children, husband, or garden cat.
Accessibility: There are a few steps going up to the porch. Let me know if anyone in your party finds steps challenging, and I'll happily set us up on ground level. There is one step from the street onto the curb. If that single step is difficult, we can arrange parking on the driveway. Please email kali@bluehouseflorals.com if you have any other accessibility needs.
