Learn the art of floral design with our private or mobile workshops tailored to fit your schedule and location. Whether you prefer an intimate setting at home or the thrill of stepping into our garden, Blue House Florals brings the beauty of locally grown, organic flowers directly to you.
All classes are taught by botanical artist, Kali Rabaut, whose work has been featured in venues and museums throughout Tampa Bay. Kali will guide you through seasonal floral arranging techniques, combining creativity with hands-on practice. Perfect for team-building, special occasions, or simply to develop a new hobby, these workshops deepen your connection to nature and your nurture your creative spirit.
Each session includes:
Selection of fresh, locally sourced flowers
Step-by-step design instruction
Tips on flower care and arrangement longevity
All necessary tools and materials

Private Floral Design Experience in the Garden
Harvest and arrange your own bouquet with locally grown blooms. Great fun for a group of friends, family, neighbors, or a date.
Private garden tour includes:
tea with leaves from the garden with local honey
private garden tour
harvesting your own flowers and foliage
basic floral design tutorial
bouquet in a vase to take home
$85/per person. Minimum of 2 people required, maximum of 8. This private experience is about 1 hour long. Now scheduling October-May.
Please note: It’s best practice to harvest the blooms just after sunrise or just before sunset. This ensures the flowers will be at their peak and will have the greatest vase life. Plus, it’s good lighting for those beautiful photos!
Blue House Florals is a specialty cut flower garden in the heart of Tampa Heights. Grown on residential lots just blocks from the Hillsborough River, we use sustainable and organic practices with a focus on Florida-friendly flowers and foliage.
Private Garden Coaching
Enjoy growing your own beautiful, fresh blooms all year long. Sit down with me for a one-on-one gardening consult, and I’ll share with you everything I wish I knew before I got started. Learn what grows best in our Florida climate, as well as how to care for your plants. You’ll receive a cheat sheet about what to plant when, as well as a small selection of seeds to sample. Please allow at least one week to coordinate schedules.
Virtual Cut Flower Garden Coaching is available virtually $85/hr.
In person garden consults begin at $95/hr and is hosted at Blue House Florals garden in Tampa Heights. I’ll travel within 30 miles of Tampa for an additional fee.

This garden coaching session is ideal for:
beginning and intermediate gardeners
all things cut flower gardening (varieties, timing, conditions, etc.)
cut flower garden troubleshooting

Please keep in mind I am not a landscape designer, so I don’t create landscape plans at this time.
