Deliveries

Deliveries are every other Thursday 8am-2pm. If you can not be at home, please leave directions for a neighbor to grab for you. I'll send you a text message with a photo confirmation upon delivery. 

Porch Pickups

Porch pick-ups are every other Thursday 3:30pm-6:30pm. If you can not pick up the bouquet, please arrange to have someone else pick it up for you. Otherwise, your bouquet will be donated. Thank you for understanding! 

 What to expect

• Your bouquet comes in a reusable vase. Please return your used vase each time. If you forget, no worries! You can just leave them out next time.

• Every bouquet is unique, reflecting the best of our season. You never know what you'll find, but it's a wonderful way to experience the seasons. 

Caring for your flowers

• In order to ensure the longest vase life for your flowers, make sure to change out the water every couple of days.

• Keep your arrangement out of direct sunlight.

• Make sure there are no leaves in the water, as this encourages bacterial growth.

• Feeling like a super plant parent? Go ahead and cut the stems every couple days or so. Just an inch or so will do it.

• You don't need any kind of plant food or powder. These babies are fresh as can be.

• You may occasionally have flowers or foliage that last longer than the others. You can put them in a bud vase in your bathroom or on a nightstand, or combine them with your new arrangement. Keep the party going.

• After you've enjoyed your bouquet, please consider composting or drying them. 

FAQs

How long will the flowers last? In general, your arrangement should last at least 72 hours. However, some arrangements will last a week or more. It depends on the flower, as each has their own unique vase life.

What if I want to pause or cancel my subscription? You are welcome to pause or cancel, but must give at least one week’s notice. If you give less than a week’s notice, you will be charged, and your bouquet will be donated. Thanks for understanding. 

Will all of the flowers be from your garden? While Blue House Florals makes every effort to grow all of the flowers and foliage for each bouquet, nature can not be predicted. Therefore, the following hierarchy will be used to supplement with flowers and foliage, if needed. From most desired to least desired:

• other local farms within 100 miles (most desired)

• USA flower farms shipped 

• floral wholesaler (will prioritize USA grown)

• floral wholesaler internationally grown (least desired)
